Privacy Policy

Our Website Privacy Policy

Welcome to the website located at (the “Site”) that is owned by Caregiver Services, Inc. (“CSI,” “we” or “us”). Below please find the privacy policy that applies to the Site.

Please note that this privacy policy only covers information that we collect through the Site, and does not cover information that we collect offline or through other channels.

Collection and Use of Information

If you visit the Site as a guest only, we do not collect or store any of your personally identifiable information.

Contact Us

If you visit the Site and submit a Request Care Form or Job Application Form, signup to receive our Newsletter, or submit any other communication to us, we do not collect or store any of your personally identifiable information except for your name (if provided), e-mail address, telephone number (if provided) and any other personally identifiable information you may include in your communication to us.

Log Files

As is true of most websites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.

We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole.

We do not link this automatically-collected data to personally identifiable information.

We use a third-party tracking service that uses cookies to track non-personally identifiable information about visitors to the Site in the aggregate to help us to identify what areas of the Site our guests and members are accessing and to improve the Site.

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user’s computer for record-keeping purposes. We use cookies on the Site. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information.

We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. We use session cookies to make it easier for you to navigate the Site. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period of time. You can remove persistent cookies by following directions provided in your Internet browser’s “help” file.

Persistent cookies enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our site.

If you reject cookies, you may still use the Site, but your ability to use some areas of the Site may be limited.

Clear Gifs (Web Beacons/Web Bugs)

We employ a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs), that help us better manage content on the Site by informing of us what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, that are used to track the online movements of website users. In contrast to cookies, which are stored on a user’s computer hard drive, clear gifs are embedded invisibly on website pages and are about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. We do not tie the information gathered by clear gifs to your personally identifiable information.

Communications from the Site.

We will communicate with you in response to your inquiries and to provide the services you request. We will also send you a copy of our Newsletter at the email address you used to sign up unless you ask us to stop. We will communicate with you by e-mail or telephone, in accordance with your wishes.

If you no longer wish to receive communications from us, you may opt-out of receiving them by following the instructions included in each communication or by contacting us to opt-out.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We will not voluntarily share any personally identifiable information about you with a third party without your prior authorization, except (i) with partners who assist us in providing services to you, (ii) to enforce our privacy policy, to comply with law, regulation or other legal processes or to protect the rights, property or safety of us or others, (iii) in emergency situations, or (iv) in the event that we or substantially all of our assets are acquired by one or more third parties as a result of an acquisition, merger, sale, reorganization, consolidation or liquidation, in which case personally identifiable information may be one of the transferred assets.

Legal Disclaimer

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on the Site

Links to Other Websites

From time to time we may include links to other websites on the Site. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the information practices or privacy policies of websites operated by others that may be linked to or from the Site. If you decide to access a third party’s website that is linked to or from the Site, you should make sure to read that website’s privacy policy and terms of use.

Data Security

We implement data security through physical, administrative and technical safeguards that we have put in place and the operational procedures we adhere to in order to protect personally identifiable information. We restrict access to personally identifiable information to our authorized employees, our agents and certain of our authorized partners.

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
