When you are the Caregiver of a person with Alzheimer’s you become a prisoner in your own world. Although caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s is one of the hardest jobs you’ll ever have most say they wouldn't trade the experience for anything. Being able to care for your loved one through to the end of life is an unbelievable gift. Questions that are pondered over and over are leaders born or created. Leadership: the office or position of a leader; capacity to lead as defined by Merriam Webster Dictionary. It is important to exhibit, model and display these traits. Simply possessing each trait is not enough; you have to display it in a way that people notice. People want to see that you actively demonstrate these leadership qualities and will not just assume that you have them. In other words put up or shut up. Read More »
